Milia is the term used for pockets of dead skin cells that get trapped beneath the skin. They present as little white dots and are most commonly found around the eyes, on the eyelids and cheeks.
How Do I Remove Unwanted Milia?
Milia removal is surprisingly easy and pain-free. A small, sterile needle is used to make a small break in the skin, then a specialised extracting tool is used to extract the dead skin cells. Some milia can be more stubborn to remove and may require re-treatment at a later date.
Is There Any Downtime After The Treatment?
Most people have a small amount of redness after the treatment, that may last an hour or so but is easily covered with make up. You can return to your regular skin care regime immediately after treatment.
